Vandazole (metronidazole vaginal gel)

Vandazole (metronidazole) is an antimicrobial vaginal gel used to treat bacterial vaginosis in women who are not pregnant.
The drug is often used to treat Bacterial vaginosis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- headache,
- dizziness,
- diarrhea,
- sleep problems (insomnia),
- constipation,
- loss of appetite,
- upset stomach,
- runny nose,
- infection,
- abdominal pain,
- acne,
- increased sweating, or
- urinating more than usual,
- vomiting rash,
- burning or stinging when the medication is applied,
- pelvic pain or cramps,
- breast discharge or enlargement.
