MetroGel Vaginal (metronidazole)

Metrogel vaginal (metronidazole) is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial vaginosis.
The drug is often used to treat Bacterial vaginosis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- dizziness,
- numbness,
- vomiting,
- sleep problems (insomnia),
- constipation,
- loss of appetite,
- upset stomach,
- runny nose,
- increased sweating,
- acne,
- urinating more than usual,
- burning or stinging when the medicine is applied,
- pelvic pain or cramping,
- breast discharge or enlargement, or
- rarely, seizures.
