Metopirone (metyrapone) is a diagnostic drug for testing hypothalamic-pituitary ACTH function.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- rash,
- itching, and
- severe dizziness
The following drugs are related to Metopirone, either as a replacement or used together:
- Isturisa (osilodrostat tablets, for oral use)
- Korlym (mifepristone)
- Recorlev (levoketoconazole tablets)
