Reglan (metoclopramide)

Reglan (metoclopramide) is a dopamine antagonist that is used as an antiemetic (anti-vomiting) agent used to treat nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, heartburn and early satiety (feeling of fullness). Reglan is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• headache,
• dizziness,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• restlessness,
• trouble sleeping (insomnia),
• tiredness,
• drowsiness,
• changes in your menstrual periods, or
• breast tenderness or swelling,
• malaise,
• decreased energy,
• urinating more than usual.

• Metozolv ODT (metoclopramide hydrochloride orally disintegrating tablets)
• Protonix (pantoprazole)
