Relexxii (methylphenidate hydrochloride tablet, extended release) is a CNS stimulant

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • shortness of breath,
  • blurred vision,
  • confusion, and
  • mood changes,
  • hives, 
  • difficulty breathing, 
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, 
  • fainting, 
  • seizures, 
  • thoughts of self-harm, 
  • agitation,
  • twitching, 
  • aggression, 
  • trouble speaking, 
  • increased blood pressure,
  • cold fingers or toes, 
  • numbness or pain in fingers or toes, 
  • skin color changes, 
  • wounds on the fingers or toes, 
  • fast, pounding, or irregular heartbeats, 
  • behavior changes, 
  • abnormal thoughts, 
  • uncontrolled muscle movements, 
  • shaking,  
  • sudden outbursts of words or sounds that are hard to control, 
  • chest, jaw or left arm pain, 
  • unusual sweating, 
  • weakness on one side of the body, 
  • sudden vision changes, 
  • an erection that is painful or prolonged erection lasting 4 or more hours
