Quillivant XR (methylphenidate hydrochloride) is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Quillivant XR is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,

  • weight loss,
  • upset stomach,
  • insomnia,
  • rash,
  • anxiety,
  • abdominal pain,
  • irritability,
  • decreased appetite,
  • eye pain, 
  • quickly changing moods,
