Provayblue (methylene blue) injection is an oxidation-reduction agent indicated for the treatment of pediatric and adult patients with acquired methemoglobinemia.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• fever,
• confusion,
• weakness,
• agitation,
• overactive reflexes,
• dark colored urine,
• hallucinations,
• fast heart rate,
• fainting
• pale or yellowed skin,
• loss of coordination, and
