Uvadex (methoxsalen) Sterile Solution is a psoralen photosensitizer used to treat cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) and is used in a procedure called photopheresis.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- rash,
- dizziness,
- headache,
- weakness,
- irregular heartbeat,
- depression,
- vision changes,
- itching, and
- severe dizziness
- leg cramps,
- Get medical help right away, if you have any of the symptoms listed above.
- increased sensitivity of the eyes and skin to the sun,
- swollen, red, blistering, or peeling skin,
- swollen ankles or feet,
- new or unusual skin sores,
- The most common side effects of Uvadex include:
- bitter or sour taste in your mouth,
- skin freckling,
- dry skin, and
- skin aging
