Uvadex (methoxsalen) Sterile Solution is a psoralen photosensitizer used to treat cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) and is used in a procedure called photopheresis.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • rash,
  • dizziness,
  • headache,
  • weakness,
  • irregular heartbeat,
  • depression,
  • vision changes,
  • itching, and
  • severe dizziness
  • leg cramps,
  • Get medical help right away, if you have any of the symptoms listed above.
  • increased sensitivity of the eyes and skin to the sun,
  • swollen, red, blistering, or peeling skin,
  • swollen ankles or feet,
  • new or unusual skin sores,
  • The most common side effects of Uvadex include:
  • bitter or sour taste in your mouth,
  • skin freckling,
  • dry skin, and
  • skin aging
