Pepaxto (melphalan flufenamide for injection for iv use)

Pepaxto (melphalan flufenamide) is an alkylating drug indicated in combination with dexamethasone, to treat adult patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have received at least four prior lines of therapy and whose disease is refractory to at least one proteasome inhibitor, one immunomodulatory agent, and one CD38-directed monoclonal antibody.

The drug is often used to treat Multiple myeloma .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• diarrhea,
• fever,
• fatigue,
• decreased platelets,
• decreased lymphocytes,
• decreased neutrophils,
• decreased hemoglobin, and
• decreased leukocytes,
• respiratory tract infection,
• increased creatinine
