Valchlor (mechlorethamine gel)

Valchlor (mechlorethamine) Gel is a topical (for the skin) alkylating drug used to treat Stage IA and IB mycosis fungoides-type cutaneous T-cell lymphoma in patients who have received prior skin-directed therapy.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• itching,
• blistering,
• severe skin irritation,
• a new skin lesion,
• redness or swelling of the skin, and
• warmth, pus, oozing, or other signs of skin infection

The following drugs are related to Valchlor, either as a replacement or used together:

• Pepaxto (melphalan flufenamide for injection for iv use)
