Mavik (trandolapril)

Mavik (trandolapril) is an ACE (angiotensin converting enzyme) inhibitor used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), and to improve survival after a heart attack. Mavik is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- fever,
- pale skin,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- chills,
- tiredness,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- chest pain,
- severe shortness of breath,
- fluttering in your chest,
- wheezing,
- sweating,
- weakness,
- cough,
- mouth sores,
- swelling in your feet or ankles,
- irregular heartbeats,
- anxiety,
- pounding heartbeats,
- trouble breathing,
- skin sores,
- tingly feeling,
- loss of movements,
- little or no movement,
- gasping for breath, and
- cough with foamy mucus
