Selzentry (maraviroc)

Selzentry (maraviroc) is an antiviral medication used together with other medications to treat CCR5-tropic human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) type 1. Selzentry is not a cure for HIV or AIDS.
The drug is often used to treat HIV .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- upper stomach pain,
- itching,
- dark urine,
- rash,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- night sweats,
- lightheadedness,
- weight loss,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- wheezing,
- sweating,
- cough,
- sore throat,
- skin pain,
- menstrual changes, and
- burning in your eyes,
- severe weakness,
- unusual bruising,
- red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
- cold sores,
- trouble speaking or swallowing,
- problems with balance or eye movement,
- weakness or prickly feeling,
- swelling in your neck or throat (enlarged thyroid),
- impotence
- chest pressure,
- muscle or joint aches,
- tight feeling in your neck or jaw,
- pain spreading to your arm or shoulder,
