Opsumit (macitentan tablets)

Opsumit (macitentan) is an endothelin receptor antagonist used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH, WHO Group I) to delay disease progression.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• upper stomach pain,
• loss of appetite,
• itching,
• dark urine,
• pale skin,
• clay-colored stools,
• yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
• severe shortness of breath,
• swelling,
• wheezing,
• sweating,
• chest pain, and
• rapid weight gain,
• anxiety,
• pain or burning when you urinate,
• gasping for breath,
• cough with foamy mucus,
• fast or uneven heart rate
• tired feeling,
