M-R-Vax II (measles and rubella virus vaccine live) is a live virus vaccine for immunization against measles (rubeola) and rubella (German measles). M-R-Vax II is available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Measles .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea
- dizziness
- rash
- fever
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- headache
- sore throat
- cough
- injection site reactions (burning, stinging, swelling, tenderness, and hives)
- runny nose
- loss of appetite
- general feeling of being unwell (malaise), and
- joint pain.
