M-R-Vax II (measles and rubella virus vaccine live) is a live virus vaccine for immunization against measles (rubeola) and rubella (German measles). M-R-Vax II is available in generic form.

The drug is often used to treat Measles .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea
  • dizziness
  • rash
  • fever
  • vomiting
  • diarrhea
  •  headache
  • sore throat
  • cough
  • injection site reactions (burning, stinging, swelling, tenderness, and hives)
  • runny nose
  • loss of appetite
  • general feeling of being unwell (malaise), and
  • joint pain.
The following drugs are related to M-R-Vax, either as a replacement or used together:
  • gamaSTAN (immune globulin (human) for injection)
