Lysteda (tranexamic acid tablets)

Lysteda (tranexamic acid) is an antifibrinolytic used to treat heavy bleeding during the menstrual period.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- runny or stuffy nose,
- stomach or abdominal pain,
- fatigue,
- tired feeling,
- muscle cramps,
- joint or muscle pain,
- back pain.
- headache or migraine,
- eye redness, or
The following drugs are related to Lysteda, either as a replacement or used together:
- Beyaz (drospirenone/ethinyl estradiol/ levomefolate calcium tablets and levomefolate calcuim tablets)
- Depo-Provera (medroxyprogesterone)
- Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol)
- Oriahnn (elagolix, estradiol, and norethindrone acetate capsules; elagolix capsules)
- Lo Loestrin FE (norethindrone acetate-ethinyl estradiol-ferrous fumarate)
