Lyrica CR (pregabalin) extended-release is an anti-epileptic drug (AED) indicated for the management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) and postherpetic neuralgia (PHN).

The drug is often used to treat Peripheral neuropathy .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • blurred vision,
  • diarrhea,
  • runny or stuffy nose,
  • constipation,
  • dry mouth,
  • drowsiness,
  • weight gain,
  • fatigue,
  • swelling of extremities,
  • spinning sensation (vertigo),
  • balance problems, 
  • dizziness,
  • and urinary tract infection (UTI).
