Pluvicto (lutetium Lu 177 vipivotide tetraxetan) is a radioligand therapeutic agent indicated for the treatment of adult patients with prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) who have been treated with androgen receptor (AR) pathway inhibition and taxane-based chemotherapy.
The drug is often used to treat Prostate cancer .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- shortness of breath,
- nausea,
- headache,
- dizziness,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- weakness,
- fever,
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
- confusion,
- fatigue,
- hair loss,
- chest pain or pressure,
- disorientation,
- rapid or shallow breathing,
- seizures, and
- little or no urination,
- irregular heartbeat,
- dark and tarry stools,
- pale skin, lips and nails,
- swelling in your legs, ankles, or feet,
- coma
