Lutathera (lutetium Lu 177 dotatate) Injection is a radiolabeled somatostatin analog indicated for the treatment of somatostatin receptor-positive gastro-enteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs), including foregut, midgut, and hindgut neuroendocrine tumors in adults.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• dizziness,
• back pain,
• headache,
• fatigue,
• flushing,
• anxiety,
• abdominal pain,
• hair loss,
• low blood potassium (hypokalemia),
• constipation
• high blood pressure (hypertension),
• high blood sugar (hyperglycemia),
• decreased appetite,
• low level of lymphocytes in the blood (lymphopenia),
• increased GGT,
• increased AST,
• increased ALT,
• swelling or pain in extremities,
• kidney failure,
• cough, and
