Mulpleta (lusutrombopag tablets)

Mulpleta (lusutrombopag tablets) is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist indicated for the treatment of low platelet counts (thrombocytopenia) in adult patients with chronic liver disease who are scheduled to undergo a procedure.

The drug is often used to treat Liver disease .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • chills,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • stomach pain (upper right side),
  • sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body),
  • bloody or tarry stools,
  • coughing up blood, and
  • vomiting that looks like coffee grounds
  • problems with vision or speech,
  • swelling or redness in an arm or leg,
