Livmarli (maralixibat) is an ileal bile acid transporter (IBAT) inhibitor used to treat cholestatic pruritus (itching) in patients with Alagille syndrome (ALGS) 1 year of age and older.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- stomach pain,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- gastrointestinal bleeding
- changes or worsening liver test results,
- dark or brown urine,
- pain in the right side of your abdomen,
- bone fractures, and
