Victoza (liraglutide [rdna] injection)
type of Antidiabetics, Glucagon-like Peptide-1 Agonists
Victoza (liraglutide [rDNA origin]) is a GLP-1 analog indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise, to improve glycemic control in adults.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- dizziness,
- headache,
- sweating,
- trouble swallowing,
- irritability,
- fast heart rate,
- hunger,
- shortness of breath
- feeling very thirsty or hot,
- hot and dry skin,
- heavy sweating,
- feeling anxious,
- inability to urinate,
- shakiness,
- racing or pounding heartbeats,
- suicidal thoughts,
- swelling or a lump in your neck,
- sudden mood changes,
- sudden severe pain in your upper stomach that spreads to your back,
- yellowing or your skin or eyes (jaundice),
- horse voice, and
