Victoza (liraglutide [rdna] injection)

Victoza (liraglutide [rDNA origin]) is a GLP-1 analog indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise, to improve glycemic control in adults.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • dizziness,
  • headache,
  • sweating,
  • trouble swallowing,
  • irritability,
  • fast heart rate,
  • hunger,
  • shortness of breath
  • feeling very thirsty or hot,
  • hot and dry skin,
  • heavy sweating,
  • feeling anxious,
  • inability to urinate,
  • shakiness,
  • racing or pounding heartbeats,
  • suicidal thoughts,
  • swelling or a lump in your neck,
  • sudden mood changes,
  • sudden severe pain in your upper stomach that spreads to your back,
  • yellowing or your skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • horse voice, and
