Xiidra (lifitegrast ophthalmic solution, 5%)

Xiidra (lifitegrast ophthalmic solution) 5%, for topical ophthalmic use is a lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) antagonist indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease (DED).

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• fever,
• headache, and
• runny or stuffy nose,
• yellow or green nasal mucus,
• toothache,
• pain behind the cheeks and forehead (areas of the sinuses)
