Lignospan Standard (lidocaine HCl 2% and epinephrine 1:50,000 injection) contains a local anesthetic agent and a vasoconstrictor indicated for the production of local anesthesia for dental procedures by nerve block or infiltration techniques.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • itching,
  • vomiting,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • confusion,
  • chills,
  • tiredness,
  • stomach pain,
  • severe headache,
  • blurred vision,
  • back pain,
  • headache,
  • wheezing,
  • fainting,
  • nervousness,
  • weakness,
  • restlessness,
  • chest pain or pressure,
  • fast or irregular heartbeat,
  • drowsiness,
  • seizures,
  • anxiety,
  • depression,
  • vision changes,
  • red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever,
  • unusual hoarseness,
  • slow breathing,
  • twitching,
  • ringing in your ears,
  • indigestion,
  • excitement,
  • severe dizziness,
  • feeling hot or cold,
  • blue or gray color of the lips, nails, or skin,
  • little or no urine,
  • burning or tingling,
  • loss of bladder or bowel control,
  • shakiness,
  • increased sensitivity to light
  • rapid or shallow breathing,
  • inability to maintain an erection,
  • paralysis or tingling in the lower half of the body,
  • stiff neck, and
