Lialda (mesalamine)

Lialda (mesalamine) is an anti-inflammatory agent used to treat ulcerative colitis, proctitis, and proctosigmoiditis, and also to prevent the symptoms of ulcerative colitis from recurring.

The drug is often used to treat Ulcerative colitis .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• headache,
• dizziness,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• sore throat,
• constipation,
• fever,
• skin rash.
• gas,
• stomach cramps,
• tired feeling, or
• flu-like symptoms,
