Liletta (levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system) is an intrauterine device (IUD) used to prevent pregnancy for up to 3 years.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• vomiting,
• fever,
• bloating,
• cramping,
• vaginal bleeding,
• perforation,
• partial or complete expulsion,
• irregular bowel movements,
• irregular or missed menstrual periods,
• pregnancy,
• shoulder pain,
• pain in your lower abdomen,
• unusual smell and vaginal discharge,
• pain or bleeding during sexual intercourse,
• burning sensation when urination
