Seasonale (levonorgestrel, ethinyl estradiol) extended-cycle is a combination of female hormones used as contraception to prevent pregnancy. Seasonale is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- dark urine,
- fever,
- shortness of breath,
- tiredness,
- clay-colored stools,
- pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
- severe headache,
- blurred vision,
- pounding in your neck or ears,
- sweating,
- weakness,
- chest pain or pressure,
- sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body),
- slurred speech,
- coughing up blood,
- sudden vision loss,
- mood changes
- swelling or redness in an arm or leg,
