Lybrel (90 mcg levonorgestrel and 20 mcg ethinyl estradiol) contains a combination of female hormones used as contraception to prevent pregnancy. The brand name of this medication is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- dizziness,
- headache,
- stomach cramping/bloating,
- vaginal discomfort/irritation,
- increased vaginal fluids, or
- breast tenderness/enlargement
