Marlissa (levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets usp)

Marlissa (levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets, 0.15 mg/0.03 mg) is an oral contraceptive indicated for the prevention of pregnancy in women who elect to use this product as a method of contraception. Marlissa is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• upper stomach pain,
• loss of appetite,
• dark urine,
• fever,
• shortness of breath,
• tiredness,
• clay-colored stools,
• yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
• pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
• severe headache,
• blurred vision,
• pounding in your neck or ears,
• sweating,
• weakness,
• chest pain or pressure,
• sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body),
• slurred speech,
• coughing up blood,
• sudden vision loss,
• mood changes
• swelling or redness in an arm or leg,
• stabbing chest pain,
• swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet,
• sleep problems,
• breast lump,
• balance problems,
• tired feeling, and
• changes in the pattern or severity of migraine headaches,
