Myzilra (levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets) is an oral contraceptive indicated for the prevention of pregnancy in women who elect to use oral contraceptives as a method of contraception. Myzilra is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • vomiting,
  • depression,
  • swelling,
  • abdominal cramps,
  • nausea,
  • bloating,
  • nipple discharge,
  • freckles or darkening of facial skin,
  • breast tenderness or enlargement,
  • breakthrough bleeding,
  • changes in menstrual flow,
  • vaginal yeast infection,
  • spotting,
  • weight gain or loss,
  • changes in vaginal discharge,
  • migraine,
  • missed periods,
  • rash (allergic),
  • and intolerance to contact lenses.

  • Ifex (ifosfamide)
  • Mirena (levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system)
