Recorlev (levoketoconazole tablets)

Recorlev (levoketoconazole) is a cortisol synthesis inhibitor used to treat endogenous hypercortisolemia in adult patients with Cushing’s syndrome for whom surgery is not an option or has not been curative.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives, 
• difficulty breathing, 
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, 
• severe dizziness, 
• fluttering in your chest, and
• abnormal liver tests, 
• muscle cramps or twitching, 
• fast or slow heartbeat

The following drugs are related to Recorlev, either as a replacement or used together:

• Acthrel (corticorelin ovine triflutate for injection)
• Cytadren (aminoglutethimide)
• Dxevo (dexamethasone tablets)
• HiDex 6 day (dexamethasone tablets usp, 1.5 mg)
• Isturisa (osilodrostat tablets, for oral use)
• Nizoral (ketoconazole)
• Korlym (mifepristone)
• Lysodren (mitotane)
• Metopirone (metyrapone)
• Signifor (pasireotide diaspartate for injection)
