Levitra (vardenafil hydrochloride) is an erectile dysfunction agent that works by blocking a certain enzyme (phosphodiesterase-PDE5) used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence).

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• lightheadedness,
• shortness of breath,
• pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
• sweating,
• chest pain or pressure,
• irregular heartbeat,
• vision changes,
• ringing in your ears,
• sudden vision loss,
• swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet,
• seizure
• sudden hearing loss,
• erection that is painful or lasts longer then 4 hours,
