Viadur (leuprolide acetate implant)

Viadur (leuprolide acetate implant) is a form of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH or LH-RH) used in the palliative treatment of advanced prostate cancer. The brand name Viadur is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

The drug is often used to treat Prostate cancer .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • little or no urination
  • weakness in your legs,
  • numbness or tingling in your legs and feet,
  • increased testosterone levels, and
