Lupron Depot 22.5 (leuprolide acetate for depot suspension injection)

Lupron Depot 22.5 mg (leuprolide acetate for depot suspension) is a synthetic form of naturally occurring gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH or LH-RH). The 3-Month Formulation of Lupron Depot 22.5 is used in men to treat the symptoms of prostate cancer. Lupron Depot 22.5 is used in women to treat symptoms of endometriosis (overgrowth of uterine lining outside of the uterus) or uterine fibroids and is also used to treat precocious (early-onset) puberty in both male and female children.
The drug is often used to treat Endometriosis , Prostate cancer .
This drug may have the following side effects:

- dizziness
- itching
- stomach pain
- tiredness
- diarrhea
- chills
- constipation
- vaginal itching or discharge

- hot flashes
- night sweats
- clammy skin
- skin redness
- scaling
- joint or muscle pain
- breast swelling or tenderness

- loss of interest in sex
- depression
- sleep problems (insomnia)
- memory problems or
- injection site reactions (redness burning stinging or pain).
