Lupron Depot-Ped (leuprolide acetate for depot suspension) is a gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist used to treat children with central precocious puberty.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • weight gain,
  • headache,
  • mood changes,
  • rash, and
  • acne,
  • injection site reactions (abscess, pain, swelling),
  • hot flushes/sweating,
  • vaginal bleeding or discharge
