Lupron Depot-Ped (leuprolide acetate for depot suspension) is a gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist used to treat children with central precocious puberty.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- weight gain,
- headache,
- mood changes,
- rash, and
- acne,
- injection site reactions (abscess, pain, swelling),
- hot flushes/sweating,
- vaginal bleeding or discharge
