Prevymis (letermovir tablets)

Prevymis (letermovir) is a CMV DNA terminase complex inhibitor indicated for prophylaxis of cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection and disease in adult CMV-seropositive recipients [R+] of an allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT).

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• rash,
• fast or irregular heartbeat,
• itching, and
• severe dizziness

The following drugs are related to Prevymis, either as a replacement or used together:

• Cipro (ciprofloxacin)
• Truvada (emtricitabine tenofovir df)
• Epivir (lamivudine)
• Grifulvin V (griseofulvin microsize)
• Livtencity (maribavir tablets)
• Viread (tenofovir disoproxil fumarate)
