Revlimid (lenalidomide)
type of Antineoplastics, Angiogenesis Inhibitor
Revlimid (lenalidomide) is a thalidomide analogue indicated for the treatment of patients with anemia and multiple myeloma. Revlimid is also used in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome and may also be used for other purposes not listed. Revlimid is available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Multiple myeloma .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- rash,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- shortness of breath,
- chills,
- pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
- severe headache,
- sweating,
- chest pain or pressure,
- sore throat,
- skin pain,
- little or no urination,
- mouth sores,
- sudden numbness or weakness,
- confusion, and
- pain,
- skin sores,
- swollen gums,
- fainting
- burning in your eyes,
- severe skin reaction,
- red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
- low fever,
- blood in your urine,
- lower back pain,
- numbness or tingly feeling around your mouth,
- problems with speech or vision,
- swelling or redness in your arm or leg,
