Xenleta (lefamulin injection)

Xenleta (lefamulin) is a pleuromutilin antibacterial indicated for the treatment of adults with community-acquired bacterial pneumonia (CABP) caused by susceptible microorganisms.

The drug is often used to treat Pneumonia .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• fluttering in your chest,
• constipation,
• severe stomach pain,
• irregular heartbeats,
• increased thirst or urination,
• leg cramps,
• numbness or tingling,
• muscle weakness, and
• limp feeling
• diarrhea that is watery or bloody (even if occurs months after your last dose),
