Leqembi (lecanemab-irmb injection)

Leqembi (lecanemab-irmb) is an amyloid beta-directed antibody indicated for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. Treatment with Leqembi should be initiated in patients with mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia stage of disease, the population in which treatment was initiated in clinical trials.

The drug is often used to treat Dementia .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• confusion,
• dizziness,
• headache,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat
• nausea, and
• visual changes,
• difficulty walking
