Xalatan (latanoprost ophthalmic)
type of Antiglaucoma, Prostaglandin Agonists
Xalatan (latanoprost) is a prostaglandin analogue ophthalmic solution used to treat pressure in the eye (glaucoma, ocular hypertension) by decreasing liquid in the eye. Xalantan is available as a generic drug.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- increased sensitivity to light,
- vision changes, and
- severe burning, stinging, or irritation after using the medicine
- eye swelling, redness, severe discomfort, crusting or drainage,
- red, swollen or itchy eyelids,
