Vitrakvi (larotrectinib capsules)

Vitrakvi (larotrectinib) is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of adult and pediatric patients with solid tumors that have a neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase (NTRK) gene fusion without a known acquired resistance mutation, are metastatic or where surgical resection is likely to result in severe morbidity, and have no satisfactory alternative treatments or that have progressed following treatment.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- dark urine,
- clay-colored stools, and
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- pale skin,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- cold hands and feet,
- confusion,
- cough,
- unusual tiredness,
- sore throat,
- flu symptoms,
- stomach pain (upper right side),
- memory problems,
- severe dizziness,
- numbness, tingling, or burning pain in your hands or feet,
- severe or ongoing stomach pain,
- problems with speech or coordination,
- sores or ulcers in your mouth or on your skin,
- pain, warmth, redness, or swelling under your skin,
