Temixys (lamivudine and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate tablets)

Temixys (lamivudine and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate) is a combination of two nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors indicated in combination with other antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and pediatric patients weighing at least 35 kg.
The drug is often used to treat HIV .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- dark urine,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- night sweats,
- shortness of breath,
- weight loss,
- tiredness,
- clay-colored stools,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- wheezing,
- cough,
- little or no urination,
- muscle weakness,
- menstrual changes, and
- swelling in your feet or ankles,
- new or worsening bone pain,
- cold sores,
- trouble speaking or swallowing,
- problems with balance or eye movement,
- weakness or prickly feeling,
- swelling in your neck or throat (enlarged thyroid),
- impotence
- swelling around your midsection,
- upper stomach pain (that may spread to your back),
- pain in your arms, hands, legs, or feet,
