Kyleena (levonorgestrel)

Kyleena (levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system) is a progestin-containing intrauterine system (IUS) indicated for prevention of pregnancy for up to 5 years.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • increased vaginal bleeding,
  • abdominal pain or pelvic pain,
  • devise expulsion,
  • acne, and
  • menstrual cramps
