Sprix (ketorolac tromethamine nasal spray)

Sprix (ketorolac tromethamine) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in adults for short-term (up to 5 days) management of moderate to moderately severe pain that requires pain relief at the opioid level.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea
- rash
- runny or stuffy nose
- upset stomach
- sore throat
- slow heart rate
- nasal pain or discomfort
- watery eyes
- decreased urine output
- high blood pressure
- dizziness, or
- drowsiness.
The following drugs are related to Sprix, either as a replacement or used together:
- Lofena (diclofenac potassium tablets)
- Diclostream (diclofenac sodium 1.5% solution and menthol 10% topical liquid)
