Keppra XR (levetiracetam extended-release tablets)

Keppra XR (levetiracetam) Extended-Release Tablets is an anti-epileptic drug used to treat partial onset seizures in adults and children who are at least 4 years old, and is also used to treat tonic-clonic seizures in adults and children who are at least 6 years old, and myoclonic seizures in adults and children who are at least 12 years old. Keppra XR is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• dizziness,

• drowsiness,
• tired feeling,
• stuffy nose.
