Kcentra (prothrombin complex concentrate (human))

Kcentra Prothrombin Complex Concentrate (Human) contains the Vitamin K dependent Coagulation Factors II, VII, IX and X, and the antithrombotic Proteins C and S and is used for the urgent reversal of acquired coagulation factor deficiency induced by Vitamin K antagonist (VKA, e.g., warfarin) therapy in adult patients with acute major bleeding.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • joint pain,
  • headache,
  • low blood pressure (hypotension), and
  • low levels of iron in the blood (anemia)

  • Balfaxar (prothrombin complex concentrate, human-lans)
  • Bebulin VH (factor ix complex intravenous administration)
  • Profilnine (factor ix complex intravenous administration)
