Kcentra (prothrombin complex concentrate (human))

Kcentra Prothrombin Complex Concentrate (Human) contains the Vitamin K dependent Coagulation Factors II, VII, IX and X, and the antithrombotic Proteins C and S and is used for the urgent reversal of acquired coagulation factor deficiency induced by Vitamin K antagonist (VKA, e.g., warfarin) therapy in adult patients with acute major bleeding.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- joint pain,
- headache,
- low blood pressure (hypotension), and
- low levels of iron in the blood (anemia)
