Kanuma (kanuma sebelipase alfa)

Kanuma (sebelipase alfa) injection is a hydrolytic lysosomal cholesteryl ester and triacylglycerol-specific enzyme indicated for the treatment of patients with a diagnosis of Lysosomal Acid Lipase (LAL) deficiency.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • itching,
  • diarrhea,
  • fever,
  • pale skin,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • chills,
  • stomach pain,
  • swelling,
  • agitation,
  • runny nose,
  • irritability,
  • chest discomfort,
  • rapid heart rate, and
  • severe skin rash,
  • eye irritation,
  • flushed,
  • difficulty concentrating
