Juxtapid (lomitapide) is a microsomal triglyceride transfer protein inhibitor used as an adjunct to a low-fat diet and other lipid-lowering treatments to help manage cholesterol.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,

• stomach pain,
• constipation,
• indigestion,
• weight loss
• gas,
• chest pain, or
