Jolessa (levonorgestrel/ethinyl estradiol kit) is a combined oral contraceptive (COC) indicated for use by women to prevent pregnancy.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • weight gain,
  • depression
  • acne,
  • increased appetite,
  • breast tenderness,
  • irregular uterine bleeding (heavy bleeding, missed menstrual periods),
  • mood swings,
  • migraine, and
