Januvia (sitagliptin phosphate)

Januvia (sitagliptin) is an oral diabetes medicine for people with type 2 diabetes (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes. Januvia is sometimes used in combination with other diabetes medications, but is not for treating type 1 diabetes.

The drug is often used to treat Diabetes , Type 2 diabetes .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• headache,
• sore throat,
• runny or stuffy nose,
• stomach pain,
• back pain,
• diarrhea, or
• joint or muscle pain,
• constipation.
