Janumet (sitagliptin metformin hcl)

Janumet (sitagliptin/metformin HCl) is a combination of oral diabetes medicines for people with type 2 diabetes who do not use daily insulin injections. Janumet is not for treating type 1 diabetes.

The drug is often used to treat Diabetes , Type 2 diabetes .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • fast heartbeats,
  • tiredness,
  • stomach pain,
  • dizziness,
  • weakness,
  • sore throat,
  • skin pain,
  • feeling cold,
  • burning in your eyes,
  • red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
  • severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
  • little or no urinating,
  • swelling in your face or throat,
  • blisters,
  • rapid weight gain
  • unusual muscle pain,
  • irregular heart rate,
  • swelling in your legs or feet, and
  • breakdown of the outer layer of skin,
  • severe or ongoing pain in your joints,
